Service for One Director Peer Group Q&A

The Service for One Director Peer Group Q&A is a chance to meet other families directly employing their staff to share ideas, resources and ask your burning questions.

Our aim is to keep the groups small in size and as numbers grow, to offer additional group times.

The sessions are not recorded because the success of the group relies on your presence and contributions to discussions.

Team Leader Peer Q&A

This is a peer group for team leaders working for a parent in a service for one style arrangement to manage support workers.

It is run on the 1st Wednesday of the month from 10am – 11am Sydney time.

Claiming from the NDIS

NDIS participants may be able to use their funding to pay for this program under 01_134_0117_8_1 Capacity Building and Training in Self-Management and Plan Management
in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits for subscription-based services.

The program meets the key criteria for NDIS-compliant subscriptions, including:

  • A plain English service agreement clearly outlining the supports, subscription terms, and exit conditions
  • Invoices that describe the supports made available during the subscription period
  • No penalties or exit fees for cancelling, provided one month’s notice is given
  • As required by the NDIS, subscriptions are billed in advance, and unused portions can be refunded with proper notice. This structure provides families with clarity, flexibility, and peace of mind while supporting capacity-building goals in a compliant and transparent way
